As Director of Operations at Torch Recovery Center, Shawn Metz oversees daily operations while helping strengthen the systems, staff, and programming that support quality care. His background includes operational and executive leadership, program development, sober living, peer recovery support, and behavioral health services. Shawn’s own life experiences give this work personal meaning and reinforce his belief in second chances, accountability, and the ability to build a different future. He is especially driven by developing strong teams, improving the treatment environment, and helping people recognize that where they started does not have to determine where they end up.
